JVI Secret Gardens is a family-owned garden center on Donelson Pike. We stock what actually grows in Middle Tennessee, and our own crew builds the koi ponds, waterfalls and planting beds that use it.

How we work
Come and stand next to one first
A pond is hard to picture from a drawing, and nobody buys the sound of one from a photograph. We keep water features running at the center so you can walk around them, hear them, and work out what size you actually want before anyone starts digging.
- Family-owned, and you noticeThe same people answer the phone, walk your garden and turn up on build day. Nothing gets handed to a subcontractor you have never met.
- See it before you commit to itWater features are hard to picture from a drawing. Ours are running at the center, so you can stand next to one and hear it before you decide.
- Master Certified Aquascape installersThe pond work is done to the standard the certification asks for, which mostly shows up years later in water that stays clear and equipment that keeps running.
Building it is the easy part. Keeping it clear is the rest.

After the build
A pond wants a proper reset once a year and a little attention through the season. We drain and clean, service the pump and filtration, sort out algae, and track down leaks, which are almost never where people assume they are.
You do not have to be an existing customer either. A good share of the ponds we look after each year were put in by somebody else.
